Organic Food Worth the Extra Money

Organic food is simply better for you in every way. Making the choice to switch to organic food/products does just not mean that you are following the newest trend. You will be choosing to adopt a healthier lifestyle. The benefits of organic food go beyond your body as they do wonders for your mind as well. You will find that you think clearer, have more energy, your skin looks better and those of you struggling to maintain a healthy weight will struggle no longer. I've met plenty of people who have told me that they tried organic food and saw very few benefits but, when I asked them about what they've been eating, they will tell me that they bought "natural" meat or "natural" bread, etc. It's no wonder why they did not notice the benefits of organic food. They were not eating organic food!
There are numerous companies pitching their "natural" products and don't get me wrong, some of them really are not that bad considering the alternatives. You want to purchase food that is USDA certified as organic so you know that you are not being fooled. That pretty little stamp on the front of your product is what lets you know that you are buying the real thing. Organic food makes you full, good-looking, helps you maintain your weight, gives you more energy and, of course, will make you happy and satisfied!
Now, back to the price of organic food versus your everyday chemically induced replicas. I do spend more money on food than anyone else that I know and there are plenty of reasons for this. In a nutshell, I would rather not buy extra material things that I do not need and put some of that money toward living a happy, healthy and (hopefully) long life. You would be surprised at how many people think that this whole outlook is a little extreme. One of my friends actually told me, "I would rather live my life and eat McDonald's and have fun getting take-out food rather than eat rabbit food because I know it's good for me". What was my response? That's why you told me you've been falling asleep on your desk at work! Besides, rabbit food is a thing of the past! There are organic alternatives to almost everything that you eat, from chocolate to cream cheese.
The only thing I can relate to as far as objections to eating organic food is the higher cost. I am definitely not made of money but eating good foods is important to me so I made it a temporary part-time job to figure out how to spend less on the food I love. I also needed to examine where to tighten my budget for the more expensive items like meat and nutritional supplements. You might think I am crazy but I shop at about four or five different places for my groceries. They are all local grocery stores and nutrition stores but each offers something that the others do not. The only place that requires a long drive is the farm where I buy our raw milk, eggs and meat. I drink only raw milk because of its benefits and because I can digest it, eat eggs that are free of hormones and actually have a something inside when you crack the shell, and as for the meat, well, I think that one is self-explanatory. I did my research and wrote down the cost of my favourite foods at each store, took a record of which stores did not offer certain foods and which ones did. This way I knew where and when to shop without breaking the bank! It was smooth sailing from there.
Organic food is more expensive but it is better for you and does not cause health problems but prevents them! You will eat less food when you buy organic because you actually get full! You end up spending very close to the same amount of money when all is said and done simply for the fact that you eat less, get fuller faster and you
are satisfied for a longer period of time. There are no chemicals to keep you craving snacks. So, to all of you folks who are hesitant about taking the plunge, I say that knowing all of this information should make you question, why not?
